From your hotel in Putre, where we will pick you up at 8:00 AM, we will head towards Choquelimpe: a spectacular summit of the Andean foothills, located in the heart of the Chilean altiplano.We will stop at the base of the mountain, where we will begin a high-difficulty trekking route, which will take us between 7 and 8 hours depending on the pace. The effort will be worth it, as we will ascend to 5,353 meters above sea level. An altitude perfect for enjoying unforgettable views!At the summit of Choquelimpe, we will enjoy a privileged view of Lake Chungará and the Parinacota volcano, the natural border between Chile and Bolivia. We will also see other significant mountains in the area, such as Guane Guane and the Guallatiri volcano, which in the Aymara language means "abundance of wallatas," a characteristic Andean goose.We will take a break to calmly enjoy all these landscapes and have a picnic that includes sandwiches, nuts, chocolates, and natural juices. After eating, we will begin a gradual descent to the starting point of the trail.Finally, we will return to your hotel in Putre, arriving between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, depending on the group's pace during the hike.
