This tour offers an in-depth look at its architecture and the social history of copper mining in Chile.The experience begins with transportation from Santiago to Rancagua, in the O’Higgins Region. Upon arrival at Fundación Sewell, you’ll receive a safety induction before ascending to the camp.Through seven guided stops, you’ll visit emblematic locations such as the Teniente Club, restored housing, the theater, the Museum of Great Copper Mining, a mine replica, and a local handicraft exhibition. This educational journey reveals the daily life of the people who once lived and worked at 2,200 meters above sea level in one of the country’s most iconic industrial settings.
